Knitted Ferrari
If you were to ask what the opposite of Ferrari was, would it be knitting?

Lauren Porter used twelve miles of acrylic yarn, knitted and crocheted, and took ten months to create her life size sculpture of a red Ferrari. The most aspirational of consumer products was presented in the most quintessentially home-spun medium. Sue Elliot-Nichols went to speak to Lauren at the Sarah Myerscough Gallery in London, where her sculpture is being exhibited this week.
