Sarah Brightman02 Oct 2006
Sarah Brightman
She’s the most successful soprano of all times and has performed all over the world to millions of people, but we probably know her better for her musical theatre roles and her marriage to Andrew Lloyd Webber. Sarah Brightman first came to our attention in 1978 with the dance group Hot Gossip and since then has mastered many different vocal styles. She has worked with a string of opera, rock and classical stars, pioneering the classical crossover genre of music.

Sarah joins Jenni to talk of being a super-star in Brazil, not owning a car and what it’s like to be the recipient of more than 150 platinum and gold discs.

Classics : The Best of Sarah Brightman is released by EMI on October 9th
