Exercising while pregnant21 Apr 2006
Whilst pregnant most women don't fancy heading out for a jog or going down to the gym but that is exactly what they should be doing. Moderate exercise is good for both mother and baby and recent research has found that only 1 in 6 expectant mothers are doing enough.

Martha Kearney speaks to Bridgitte Swales from Roehampton University about the benefits of exercise while pregnant and how to go about it. She is also joined by Jackie Clune actress, comedian and recent mother of triplets about the reality of donning those trainers and working up a sweat.
