 | | | | Lynette Roberts - our greatest female war poet? | 30 Mar 2006 | | |
Lynette Roberts was one of Britain's great war poets - though she published just two volumes of poetry. Her work looked at life from the viewpoint of those who went to war and those who were left behind. She was critically acclaimed by TS Eliot and Robert Graves yet her work has been out of print for nearly half a century. Now all of it is being gathered together into one volume.
Patrick McGuinness, poet and critic and editor of Lynette Roberts' Collected Poems and Anghard Rhys, Lynette's daughter join Jenni to talk about her legacy.
