Winifred Robinson investigates what more could be done to protect people from the spread of infectious diseases in our hospitals.
In Holland, she visits the isolation facilities available for patients suspected of carrying MRSA. It contrasts with the complete absence of any sort of proper isolation provision in many UK hospitals. With more patients dying of hospital acquired infections she examines what more could be done to ward off the germs.
