Charles Darwin’s private, unpublished papers are to be avaliable online to the public for the first time.

Charles Darwin's published works have been avaliable since 2006, however work that has only previously been seen by scholars in Cambridge University Library can now be read online.
The collection contains his first draft of the theory of evolution, and also his notes and evidence to back up the theories in The Origin of Species, which was published in 1859.
The collection also includes family photographs, diary entries and even Emma Darwin's cookbook, as well as a scrawled note in Charles' handwriting on how to boil rice.
They can now be seen free of charge by anyone around the globe at Darwin Online
