Described as ‘the prize most poets want to win’ (Andrew Motion, Poet Laureate) the prize is awarded to the author of the best new collection of poetry published this year. It is unique among poetry prizes in being judged by a panel of established poets.

This year we asked each of the nominated poets to recorded two of the favorite poems, one for broadcast and one just for this page.
