This week, Material World comes from Our Dynamic Earth as part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival.
We've got a panel of top experts lined up to tackle the science questions you've been emailing us.
Dr Stuart Monro, Scientific Director of Our Dynamic Earth and former Principal Geologist of the British Geological Survey in Edinburgh.
Dr Jane Blackford, Lecturer in Materials in the School of Engineering and Electronics at the University of Edinburgh. Consultant to the gold-medal winning UK Olympic Curling Team in 2002.
Prof Andrew Read, Professor of Natural History in the School of Biological Sciences at Edinburgh University. Winner of the 1999 Scientific Medal, Zoological Society of London.
Dr Olivia Johnson, from the Royal Observatory Edinburgh. Having previously worked on the Chandra X-ray Observatory in the US, she now researches supermassive black holes and galaxy clusters.
Edinburgh International Science Festival
