A Wood Based Society

Would moving to a more wood based society allow us to preserve forests more readily and help absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere?

The Forest Stewardship Council, the international scheme that is one of the most widespread schemes for certifying that wood has been harvested sustainably.

Measuring Sea Level

Biomass and Flood Plains

It provides basic information on fuel processing and supply chains, currently with an emphasis on woodfuel and heat production.
