Peter Day
Hello Sunshine!

Peter Day looks at the sustainable renewable energy industry.
Hello Sunshine!

As politicians seek ways of producing sustainable energy, Germany has taken the lead with the world's biggest solar power station and the beginnings of a significant renewables industry. Peter Day discovers the secret of German success.

He travels to Leipzig in former East Germany where they are building the world’s biggest solar power station and visits Conergy’s state of the art manufacturing plant producing solar panels in Frankfurt-an-der-Oder.

About In Business

We try to make ear-grabbing programmes about the whole world of work, public and private, from vast corporations to modest volunteers.

In Business is all about change. New ways of work and new technologies are challenging most of the assumptions by which organisations have been run for the last 100 years. We try to report on ideas coming over the horizon, just before they start being talked about. We hope it is an exhilarating ride.
