Violinist David Juritz, leader of the London Mozart Players, had no idea what story would unravel when a friend gave him a collection of music that he had saved from the skip at a local hospital that had just closed down.
The hospital was St Andrew's, in Norwich, the modern name for a psychiatric hospital formerly known as the Norwich Lunatic Asylum. The music belonged to the asylum orchestra. The programme follows David on a musical voyage of discovery into the history of the hospital and its orchestra.
