Two years ago, Sandra Jones lost the sight in her left eye. In a year's time, she's likely to be almost totally blind. But there are five things in the natural world she's determined to see before that happens. She makes up her mind to walk to the North Pole for starters.
Sandra has a condition called Sorsby Fundus Dystrophy. Only five families in the UK are known to have the gene, inherited from a common ancestor around 1740.
This is a moving, but often funny programme that charts our relationship with the world around us through the eyes of a remarkable woman.
