In response to last weeks feature on grace some of the Home Truths listeners had their say. "We say grace before our evening meal, it's not because of religious reasons it's to do with getting everybody to start eating at the same time instead of having somebody producing the food and then, when sitting to eat, everybody finishing and demanding second helpings"
"We have friends who are devout Christians and when we visit them we always have to say grace. But when they're coming to us for a meal, I usually ask our friend to say grace for us and it's become a bit of a thing for me at home. I worry about not asking our friend to say grace in the morning whilst preparing the meal, and then worry that I've forgotten to ask them during the meal! It all becomes a bit of an embarrassment as far as I'm concerned."
