Gwen Hickman was born to wear spangles and sparkles, a feather in her hair, a gardenia behind her ear and perfume in the places that don't even show. Gwen was a 1950's Showgirl and has played before the crowned heads of North Africa and graced the stages of at least two continents.
She speaks to David Stafford from the BBC's Nottingham studio.
