26-year-old David Laverty wants to make clear that he loves his granny very much. His gran is a great knitter. When David was nine years old she presented him with a pair of mittens knitted from the hair of her pet dog who'd recently died. David came into the Home Truths studio to tell us more his gran, her needles - and this slightly macabre creation.
