Sarah Collins' father

Sarah Collins

Listen to the item

If you are a regular Home Truths listener it won't have escaped your notice that over the past few weeks we have been somewhat obsessed with whether it is fine to use the items owned by your dead relatives. Many of you wear your dead parents' clothes, finding it comforting, others eat food left in the freezer of your dead relatives.

The ghoulish debate prompted Sarah Collins to contact us. Her father died 4 years ago and her mother died just 18 months later. She came into our Nottingham studio to talk to David Stafford about the difficult task of sorting through her father's belongings and about the things that meant the most to her.
