Sue Jenkins thought she was going to be able to relax in 2003 when she gave up the pressures of teaching art with a view to becoming a student once again. But out of the blue the back pains her husband Norman had been suffering were diagnosed - too late - as a rare and fatal form of lung cancer.
Understandably sue tried at once to pull out of her MA project but her tutor, Gordon was having none of it. In no uncertain terms, he told her to buy a digital video camera and record anything and everything as it occurred.
When Sue refused her husband himself stepped in to convince her. She tells Tom Robinson more.
