Mother's ashes

Preti Taneja lost her mother last year to cancer. She was a talented, lively and beautiful woman, and when she was gone, all that Preti seemed left with was a mixture of feelings, amongst them anger, loneliness and confusion.
Still in despair, she took her mother's ashes back home, to the Himalayas, to scatter. And there, on the roof of the world, the clouds lifted and the light came back into her life. But it was a long journey to get there.
