Lise used to be a jeweller - a successful, self-made jeweller - but there was one problem and in the end she just couldn't take it any more - she loses jewellery. She lost the jewellery she was given as a girl; she lost the jewellery she made for her own wedding; she's mislaid two of her husband's family heirloom rings...and she's come perilously, heart-stoppingly close to losing her customers' jewellery .
Lise loved what she did and had a flair for it but the fates decreed otherwise - such a litany of loss proved too much. She came along to explain to David Stafford why she's called it quits.
Lise would like to dedicate her recording to her jeweller friend, Jonathan Venning, who died 14 years ago this week.
