Jane Collyer met Steve Round in a cave. They courted in caves, cavorted in caves and plighted their eternal troth in a cave.
Today Steve and Jane run a cafe called Bernie's in Ingleton, Yorkshire. It is apparently, the cultural and social epicentre of the British caving world.
Our reporter, Ray Kershaw, popped along to Bernie's and found Jane behind the till, Steve making caving equipment and both of them idly discussing caving matters with their caving customers.
