Bernard Keefe spent his youthful days at the top secret wartime HQ, Bletchley Park, near Milton Keynes. Bernard was 19-years-old and about to go up to Cambridge to study classics when he was selected to go on a six month crash course to learn Japanese and become a decoder at Bletchley. But several months after the atom bomb had been dropped, Bernard was sent to Japan...
