Colette O'Hare was a middle-aged mother with 4 grown up sons when divorce left her with a cash flow crisis and nowhere to live.
After various abortive attempts to apply for flatshares offered by others, she bit the bullet and took on a lease of her own.
She soon discovered that life in a large family of her own was no preparation for sharing with the various adult strangers (and indeed strange adults) who applied to rent her rooms.
