Comic Relief's main UK based campaign this year tackles the difficult subject of elder abuse.
Eileen Furbank knows from experience what distress it can cause.
About four years ago her mother, then in her late 80s, developed dementia alongside a range of other health problems. Eileen was faced with the difficult choice of placing her in a care home. At first everything seemed fine, but as time went on Eileen became aware that her mother's distress was increasing.
One day, Eileen made an unexpected visit to the home. She found her mother in such pain that the doctor who was called out to attend to her admitted her to hospital immediately. The hospital discovered horrific and agonising pressure sores.
Eileen's mum died there five days later.
Eileen talks to Jo about her mum and what happened to her.
