Knock out!

In the late 80s Richard Dunn worked as a scaffolder on a North Sea oil rig, sending his money home to his wife Janet and their three children in Scarborough. In spite of being very safety conscious, Richard had an accident. Both his legs were shattered.

He was told his wouldn't work or walk again. 18 months later he stepped out of his wheelchair at a barbecue.

But Richard had always been a strong, athletic man. His years in the ring in the 70s as a heavyweight boxer stood him in good stead - not to mention his 1976 world championship bid against Muhammad Ali.

Richard talks to David about how he overcame his injuries and what it was like to take on the one of the world's greatest boxers!
