 Listen to the item
Don't ask Will Kerley for an instant opinion. As a policeman's son he says he carries a curious 'double-vision' of the world. As he grew up he realised that people hated the police, but that he, Will, loved his father.
He was 'Son of Copper' and 'Piglet' at school. As a student his developing political convictions brought him into another collision of loyalties, as his dad policed the pits during the miners' strike.
And now he still finds it difficult express an opnion without thinking hard about it first - because there's always another point of view.
