A few weeks ago, Ruth Ansell contacted Home Truths to say that she'd inherited her father's musical saw, and that her greatest wish was to be able to play it to her mother for Christmas.
Her message was played out on air, and dozens of musical saw aficionados contacted Home Truths with offers to teach her.
Through the programme, Ruth got in touch with Eddy who lives near her. After five lessons, she came into the studio to play for her mum and explained how she came to inherit her father's saw in the first place.
