Mary Leitch emailed Home Truths with a message entitled "My Dad Played a Musical Saw with his Collar".
It turns out that Mary's dad, Gerald was a bit of a musical whiz between the wars.
At the time, the family were living in Bournemouth, where there were plenty of hotels and places of entertainment keen to listen to something new and different - they certainly had it with Gerald...
