John and Mo Deaville love fishing - and each other
John and Mo Deaville love fishing...and each other

Mo with another catch

Angling for love

Listen to the item

As we all know some relationships can't be salvaged from the wreckage, but others can be pulled back from the brink.

The Deaville's from Stoke on Trent are a case in point. Though they'd been married for 30 years, illness and upset were pulling Maureen and John further and further apart and it seemed inevitable that they would separate, but weirdly enough the solution to their marital problems lay at the bottom of a tupperware box full of wriggly old maggots.

Felicity Finch joined them on a trip to their local lake where she learned how they fell for each other again hook line and sinker all over again.
