Julia Ruddick

A high wind

Listen to the item

Julia and her husband were on the return flight home after a holiday in Hong Kong. As soon as Julia sat down on the plane she felt as if she had eaten something dodgy and suddenly her stomach churned horribly. As the seatbelt light was on she had to wait to go to the toilet.

The light eventually went off and Julia jumped out of her seat. As she did so, the Chinese man next to her leant forward and as she passed his face she let out the most rip-roaringly loud and smelly fart.

Julia was mortified, mumbled sorry and fled to the toilet. Her husband, having a hard time trying to supress his laughter, couldn't even apologise to the Chinese man who had instantly covered himself, including his face, with a blanket. He remained motionless in this position for the rest of the 11 hour journey.
