Steve called to tell us about his marriage to his American pen pal. But their family connection actually goes back to the Second World War.
Steve was 12 when his mum put him in touch with his American pen pal Georgie from Ohio.
Steve's mother was only 21 when she met and fell in love with Georgie's uncle Roy, who was 12 years her senior.
It was 1941 and Roy was stationed at RAF Cottisloe near Leicester with the American airforce. They planned to marry until Roy told Steve's mum that he was already married.
