Denise Potter answered an ad in a leaflet in her doctors’ surgery 9 years ago. It had been placed by a children’s organisation called PLAN and since then she has sent of money every month and corresponded with a little girl, in a remote part of Paraguay.
Last year Denise and her partner John decided to take 4 months off and go to Paraguay to meet Gladys for the first time and to see for themselves where their money was being spent.
