Boar's Head constellation
The Boar
Best viewing: Aug–Nov in a light sky above the eastern horizon.
To find: Locate the bright curve of Andromeda and extend this into Perseus where the three snout positions can be found. The ear's formed by the triangle within Pegasus and the lower jaw is in Aries. Note that the upturned snout is made from 'The Fish'.
Star Chart: The Warrior and The Bear
The Warrior and The Bear
Best viewing: Summer months when the distinctive feet of the Warrior are firmly placed on the northwestern horizon.
To find: For the Warrior’s feet locate 2 pairs of bright stars in Gemini and Auriga then look up - you will need a dark sky to see his eyes. The Great Bear appeared after I’d found Pegasus Bear and realized that the key for bears is in the head detail : 2 stars at one corner representing the drooping lower lip or tongue.
Star Chart: The Fish
The Fish
Best viewing: In May flapping on the northern horizon, July-Oct in the east as shown.
To find: I first saw the complete Anointing scene, fist, Aladdin’s lamp style oil vessel and bowed head as shown while in southern Spain. The image we see at latitude 51º is less vertical. The arm is the left arm under which the ‘lasting knot’ or Star of Sir Gawain is found.

Starry Night

Nick Addey has worked out over the past seven years of star gazing and through his own theory that many of the ancient myths, including various biblical stories, are all based on star images.

Nick used three main sources to research his theory: the epic English tale of Sir Gawain and The Green Knight, the ole Irish mythology and The Bible in Hebrew.
