Night-terrors

Kirsten Hill started having night terrors about three years ago. She and her boyfriend James Wilks had just moved in together when their nights started to be disrupted...

Rat-spider!

Night terrors aren't like nightmares. A nightmare will usually wake you up. Kirsten rarely wakes, and rarely remembers the panic and hyper ventilating which then wakes James.

Kirsten has a 'night terror' about every 6 weeks. She remembers one of an absolutely enormous spider which was poised over her head. Sometimes a cross between an spider and a rat travels very quickly towards her.

When Kirsten speaks, it's semi coherent; 'conscious but not quite there'. But she's so convinced by the images that she almost convinces James. He never wakes Kirsten at the time, but does tell her in the morning.

Kirsten has spoken to her GP, but she didn't have much to offer. Now they'd like to hear from anyone else who has had to deal with night terrors.
