How can I stop the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal from killing me?

1. The Beast will devour you about five turns after you pop up in its Lair.
2. Leaving the room (EAST) will buy you some time.

4. You must find a way to prevent yourself from seeing the Beast. The Beast will then decide that since you can't see it, it can't see you!
5. Closing your eyes isn't obvious enough for the Beast to notice.
6. You have to cover your head with something.
7. It's something important, which no interstellar hitchhiker should ever be without.
8. The towel. COVER MY HEAD WITH THE TOWEL or PUT THE TOWEL OVER MY EYES or WRAP THE TOWEL AROUND MY HEAD or, well, you get the idea.
9. Unfortunately, you can't move around very well with a towel over your eyes. Furthermore, as you may have already noticed, this method is also only temporarily effective.
