Wherever you go in the world, however prolific the flora and fauna look, you can be sure that some of them are in danger and may not be there for future generations to see.
The two travellers on this weeks programme have spent their lives preserving the images of animals, which otherwise may be lost to our children.

David Shepherd, Wildlife Artist and Conservationist David began his career as an aviation artist then went on to become one of the world’s leading wildlife artists. In 1984 The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation was set up to focus David’s conservation efforts and to increase public awareness and funds. He has received an OBE for his services to wildlife conservation.
Stephen Mills, Wildlife film maker and Writer Stephen is a specialist in wildlife camera work. He is a naturalist, who went to film school and he has been filming natural history ever since. His passion for the wild began in Nepal in the late 80s. His new book “Tiger” is published by BBC Books ISBN: 0563 488735
Jeremy Seal – BBC Get Writing with Excess Baggage Jeremy writes travel books and contributes regularly to the Sunday Times, the Daily Telegraph, Evening Standard and Conde Nast Traveller. He writes extensively about Turkey, the Middle East and also works as a visiting tutor at the Arvon Foundation, where he helps budding writers get to grips with the travel genre.
