Amercian author Charles Frazier discusses his new novel Thirteen Moons, the follow-up to his debut and international best-seller, Cold Mountain.

Frazier was given more than eight million dollars to write this successor to Cold Mountain and although its taken nearly ten years to complete his fans will no doubt feel the wait has been worth it.
Like Frazier’s first novel, Thirteen Moons, has strong historical roots. Its set in nineteenth century America and it tells the story of a life-long love affair and one man’s struggle to save the Cherokee from being expelled from their ancestral lands.
