This week's programme:
We hear from David Guterson, bestselling author of Snow Falling on Cedars – about his new novel. Set in the rain - soaked forests of Washington State, he leads us into the realms of faith credulity and human frailty, when an itinerant mushroom picker sees a vision of the Virgin Mary. Also we discuss the controversy caused by Asne Sierstad’s book The Bookseller of Kabul as the bookseller of the title is threatening to sue.
Who do you call if you want good lesbian fiction? - the Open Book Reading Clinic of course provides answers. And would you wear a book as a necklace or display it on your mantelpiece? We hear from the world of Artist’s Books.
