Film director Mike Leigh talks to Mark Lawson about his new film, Vera Drake, which is being premiered at the London Film Festival. Set in 1950s London, it tells the story of a woman who works as a back-street abortionist.
Vera Drake opens the London Film festival on 20th October - and is released nationwide in early January, 2005.
