JAMES McNEILL WHISTLER
Richard Cork and Art Historian Robin Spencer discuss Scotland's massive tribute to American painter James McNeill Whistler, alongwith this once in a lifetime chance to view Whistler's masterpiece - arguably one of the world's most famous painting - the portrait of his mother.
Celebrations begin on Saturday to mark the centenary of Whistler's death, focused around The Hunterian Museum & Art Gallery in Glasgow, which has a huge retrospective of Whistler's work that will run until the beginning of Oct 2003.

Jazz meets hip-hop in the music of this young British sax player, Soweto Kinch. He won the Intl Saxophonist Of The Year award at the Montreux Jazz Festival and walked away with the Rising Star award at the BBC Radio Jazz Awards.
