LOST CITIES OF IRAQ
Historian Dan Cruickshank visits Iraq to explore its ancient treasures and often overlooked history as the 'birthplace of civilisation' with its remains of ancient cities such as Eridu and Babylon. Jonathan Glancey, architectural editor of The Guardian, reviews this latest documentary from BBC2.
Dan Cruickshank & The Lost Cities of Iraq will be broadcast on BBC 2 this Sunday evening at 9 pm.

FIFTY-ONE YEARS
Francine Stock interviews photographer David Goldblatt who grew up in South Africa under apartheid. His latest exhibition Fifty-One Years, is drawn from a series of photographic essays in which Goldblatt probes the values and underbelly of South African society.
Fifty-One Years is on at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in Oxford from 1 February to 30 March.

HOMAGE TO GERALD MOORE
Gerald Moore was not a solo pianist but an accompanist appearing on platforms behind every major singer and instrumentalist of the 2lst century. When he retired in 1987 there were two tribute concerts which are now available on CD. Francine Stock speaks to accompanist and broadcaster Iain Burnside.
Homage to Gerald Moore is released next week in the EMI Classics series, Great Recordings of the Century.

TATE & EGG LIVE
To launch Tate & Egg Live, a season of live events, and to celebrate the Chinese New Year, artist Cai Guo-Qiang created a spectacular firework chinese dragon. Art Critic Richard Cork watched the one-off event this evening on the river Thames.
Tate & Egg Live will be presenting works by leading artists from around the world until September. Cai Guo-Qiang's gunpowder drawings and videos of previous works will be on display at the Tate Modern until March.
