THE GOLDEN HEART
In a list of the 100 most influential figures in art published by ArtReview magazine, many of the names were expected. In 80th place was Sandra Esquilant, landlady of the Golden Heart pub in Spitalfields. Mark Lawson asks her if she was surprised.

Philip Marsden set his first novel, The Main Cages, in a 1930s Cornish fishing village. He reviews the new National Maritime Museum opening soon in Cornwall.
