At the Donmar Theatre in London last night a much-anticipated production of Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya opened. The critic and academic Susan Hitch and the former Moscow corresponadent John Lloyd give their verdict on the play, directed by Sam Mendes.

GOEBBELS AND GEDULDIG
Francine Stock talk to Peter Steinbach, writer of the German comedy about the Nazi regime, Goebbels and Geduldig and then to Judy Ironside, the Artistic Director of the Brighton Jewish Film Festival, which screened the film last year.
