Luc Besson's 1985 film Subway is out on DVD and video next week and to celebrate its return Back Row takes a look at the role of the underground in film with Nigel Floyd, Iain Softley and Hector Elizondo.
Sunset Boulevard
As part of Paramount's ninetieth anniversary celebrations Sunset Boulevard has been painstakingly restored and the new print will be at selected cinemas next week. The restoration was overseen by Paramount's head of film preservation, Barry Allen, who talks to Back Row about the process of getting the film back into shape.
