BARBARA HERSHEY
Barbara Hershey talks about working with Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese and the death threats she received after making `The Last Temptation of Christ'.
JULES DASSIN
Jules Dassin was forced to leave Hollywood during the McCarthy witch hunt of the late '40s and live a life of exile in Europe. He talks about his time in the wilderness and his Parisian heist film, Rififi, the tale of a carefully executed jewellery theft.
FILMING THE UNFILMABLE
How do you film the unfilmable novel? The latest is Christie Malry's Own Double Entry, by B.S Johnson, where all the characters know they're in a work of fiction, the author often pops up in scenes and the protagonist's mother dies once she's fulfilled her role. Its director, Paul Tickell, reveals the tricks of the trade.
