At sunset today as Christians complete their Vespers, Islam's special day for prayer ends. Hinduism sees evening as a time of ignorance, and the Jewish Sabbath is beginning. We now hear followers of those faiths observing in their regular devotions the cycles of sun and moon and calendar, reflecting also on how their different traditions understand the relationship between worship, faith and and time.
