Ian McMillan hosts a live edition of The Verb from the newly refurbished BBC Radio Theatre in London. There'll be thrills, spills, Hawaiian shirts, flip flops and wordy fireworks. Guests include acclaimed Irish playwright Colin Teevan with a new dramatic take on A Midsummer Night's Dream, a brand new Verb commission from Mancunian songster Liam Frost, Malawian poet Jack Mapanje, and The Verb's Sony award-winning audio cartoonist Peter Blegvad.

Expect a galaxy of wordsmiths engaged in linguistic acrobatics, with newly commissioned writing and explosive performance.
