Nicola Monaghan, who won a Betty Trask Award for her first novel, joins Ian McMillan with a new story written especially for the programme.

Ian McMillan talks to Aravind Adiga, a young Indian writer whose portrayal of his home country in his first novel, The White Tiger, is both shocking and angry.
It's a view of India rarely seen in fiction, and Ian is also joined by critic Ardashir Vakil to discuss the ways that India has been portrayed to Western readers in recent novels.
Also on the programme, Sinead Morrissey, winner of this year's National Poetry Competition reads her award winning poem aloud and talks to Ian about the inspiration behind it, and novelists Nicola Monaghan and Willy Vlautin talk about the relationship between their words, and their love of music.
Nicola has written a brand new story about the world of high finance for The Verb, which she wrote with a particular backing track in mind and Willy Vlautin, who is also lead singer with the band Richmond Fontaine, wrote a soundtrack CD to go with his second novel Northline.
