Stephen Johnson is joined by pianist Cedric Tiberghien for an exploration of Chopin's Four Ballades and their possible hidden links to literature. And with conductor and researcher Christopher Gayford, Stephen looks at how we perceive musical stucture and the impact this has on our appreciation of Chopin's music.
