Paul Woodmansterne

Sunday 24 December 2006 12:00-13:00 (Radio 3)

Michael Berkeley's guest is Paul Woodmansterne, managing director of the family firm of greeting card manufacturers. A keen musician, cellist and singer, he now conducts the Woodmansterne Collection, a band of professional musicians who perform regularly in St Albans Cathedral.

His musical choices range from Bach's Mourning Ode to Haydn's Cello Concerto No 1, Beethoven's Symphony No 3 and a Christmas carol by John Gardner.
