For the programme's 600th edition, Michael Berkeley's guest is actress Vanessa Redgrave, whose career has encompassed over 80 films - most recently the award-winning Atonement - and many stage appearances in plays from Shakespeare to David Hare. Well-known for her social and political activism, she is a UNICEF ambassador and a campaigner for human rights around the world. Her musical choices range from Vaughan Williams to Daniel Barenboim directing his East West Divan orchestra of Arab and Israeli musicians.
